Scholarship Information

NSFHL Education Assistance Grants

 

The North Sask Female Hockey League will be awarding two ( 2 ) $500.00 cash scholarships yearly, as Education Assistance Grants,  to two ( 2 ) Female Midget Hockey Players who have been registered within and are graduating from the NSFHL each season.

 

The recipients of these grants will be determined by a Scholarship Committee appointed by the President of the North Sask Female Hockey League. The recipients will be announced by the President at the April Meeting of the North Sask Female Hockey League.

 

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must have been registered on a team in the NSFHL in the current or previous season.
  2. Must be a registrant in good standing in both the NSFHL and the SHA.
  3. Must be a graduating Grade 12 student during that year.
  4. Must be going to attend a Canadian University, College or Post-Secondary Institution.
  5. Must attend an educational institution within 2 years to take advantage of the grant.
  6. Recipients may only be eligible to receive the grant once.

 

Each applicant will be required to fill out and return an application form (obtained from the NSFHL Secretary or the NSFHL Web-Site) on or before February 15th of the current hockey season.

 

The grant will be paid upon proof of enrolment. Proof of enrolment will be in the form of receipts from the educational institution the recipient is attending. The payment of the grant will be made directly to the applicant
